You will be the expert voice on how we use data to understand and improve our talent ecosystem. By designing groundbreaking research programs and delivering powerful insights, you will directly influence how Apple manages performance, develops employees, and plans for the future, presenting your findings to senior leaders and executives across the company! Responsibilities Develop and lead a comprehensive research program for Talent Management, creating a clear roadmap to assess performance, talent planning, and employee growth & development. Define the strategy and methodology for key metrics for our talent programs, collaborating with leadership to secure alignment and drive progress. Perform advanced analytics to answer critical business questions, explore emerging trends, and recommend which analyses should be developed into scaled, ongoing products. Synthesize data from across the People function (including Compensation, Inclusion & Diversity, and Employee Sentiment) to provide leaders with a holistic understanding of program effectiveness. Consult with senior People Leaders and Apple Executives, acting as a trusted advisor and providing the data-backed insights they need to run successful talent programs. Serve as the key liaison between the Talent Management and People Analytics Engineering teams to define, pilot, and launch new analytic products, reports, dashboards, and system integrations. Minimum Qualifications 5+ years of experience in HR/People analytics, with at least 2 years specializing in the assessment of talent management, performance, or organizational health (e.g., tenure, time in level, promotions, span of control). Proven ability to design, develop, and drive research programs from end-to-end. Experience leading strategy to define research methodology, and aligning partners and stakeholders on the approach, deliverables, and likely timelines. Outstanding communication, data visualization, and storytelling skills, with an ability to translate complex data into actionable insights for executive audiences. Hands-on experience producing analysis and visualizations using BI tools such as Tableau, Excel, Dataiku, etc. Bachelor's degree. Preferred Qualifications Master's degree or Ph.D. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Social Sciences, Statistics, Economics, or a related quantitative field. Experience with SQL & Python Familiarity with advanced analytic techniques such as regression, predictive modeling, or organizational network analysis. Experience defining product requirements for and launching analytics products such as dashboards or web applications. A combination of in-house corporate and external consulting experience. Experience working in a global role or within a large, matrixed organization. Pay & Benefits At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $203,300 and $305,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
