Description We are seeking a candidate with a comprehensive skill set encompassing power and thermal optimization, 3GPP protocol expertise, debugging proficiency, and cross-functional collaborative abilities. As an exceptional team member, you will be entrusted with the pivotal responsibility of achieving the power and thermal objectives for Apple cellular projects. Your ability to thrive in a dynamic and rapidly evolving environment, characterized by shifting priorities, is highly valued. Responsibilities Achieving the power targets for Apple cellular products. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve power and thermal targets. Participating in power analysis and debugging for power regressions by analyzing modem logs. Expanding the existing power and thermal dashboard use cases. Minimum Qualifications Bachelors and/or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent field. Minimum 5 years hands-on experience in power and thermal optimization and embedded software. Strong embedded skills including design, programming (using C and/or C++). Hands-on experience in debugging of modem products. Preferred Qualifications Strong expertise in the area of modem power management system/SW architecture & power flows Strong expertise in design and implementation of modem power management drivers Experience in trouble shooting complex race conditions between SW and HW power management flows. Experience in scripting (python and/or perl). Pay & Benefits At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $139,500 and $258,100, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
