Systems Engineer Intern, Hardware VR

As an Electrical Engineer Intern, you will design, build, and test electrical systems. You'll evaluate different approaches and methods to guide the development of next generation technology. This role offers hands-on experience in circuit design, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and the chance to impact Meta products. Our internships are twelve (12) to sixteen (16) weeks long.

Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining, a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field Experience with electrical test lab equipment (e.g. Oscilloscope, Analyzers, DMM, Power Supply, etc.) Experience with troubleshooting and diagnosing hardware issues at board level Experience with circuit design and analog fundamentals Experience with algorithms and signal processing Must obtain work authorization in the country of employment at the time of hire and maintain ongoing work authorization during employment Intent to return to degree program after completion of the internship Experience working with Python for scripting, GUI design, data collection and analysis Experience with programming in C/C++ for development, debugging, testing and performance analysis Experience with one or several of the following subsystems: Cameras, Sensors, Wireless, Audio and/or optical systems Experience leading and driving design development tools such as Cadence or 3D CAD Experience leading a multidisciplinary product engineering team, with oversight into mechanical, electrical, and firmware workstreams and integration between disciplines Understanding of Meta products and technologies
