3D Inkjet Process Development Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Process Development Engineer to join our team in the development of cutting-edge inkjet printing technology. You will be responsible for developing, and optimizing the slicing algorithms for our inkjet printers, ensuring high-quality prints and efficient performance. This role requires a combination of technical mastery, innovative problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration to drive the development.

Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field with minimum of 2 years of relevant experience Proven experience in process development in an industrial environment Demonstrated experience with software development, including programming languages such as Matlab and Python Familiarity with computational fluid dynamics modelling and simulation software, such as COMSOL Demonstrated experience with image processing algorithms and software, such as Adobe Photoshop or GIMP Demonstrated communication and collaboration skills, coupled with experience in working effectively with cross-functional teams Must have or be able to obtain work authorization in the country of employment at the time of hire and maintain ongoing work authorization during employment Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field 10+ years of engineering experience 5+ years of experience in process development in an industrial environment 5+ years of experience with inkjet printing technology, including slicing software and algorithms and ink flow dynamics Experience with design for additive manufacturing (DFAM) principles
