Description As a Senior Data Engineering Manager for the Expert Platform, you will lead the team that builds the data foundation behind Apple’s next-generation decision support systems — powering predictive coverage, experimentation, LLM based insights and intelligence. You’ll collaborate with world-class engineers, data scientists, and business leaders to design AI-native data architectures that turn millions of signals into meaningful, human-centric decisions. Responsibilities Own and evolve the data backbone for the decision intelligence platform with Expert Data Management system — that ingests and curates sales programs data..ensuring scalability, quality, and usability across global channel datasets. Design and lead data models, pipelines, and APIs that power predictive, prescriptive, and experimental decision tools used by Apple’s sales programs decision makers Partner closely with tech infra and data teams to define data requirements, unify source systems, and accelerate data readiness for new features. Champion automation, observability, and performance — ensuring the platform delivers reliable, real-time insights with minimal latency. Enable cross-functional integration of data across merchandising, staffing, and training programs, aligning architecture with Apple’s data privacy and security principles. Mentor and grow a high-performing team of data engineers and analysts; foster a culture of technical excellence, creativity, and collaboration. Drive innovation in AI-native data architecture — including streaming, feature stores, model-serving infrastructure, and feedback loops. Collaborate on capability security: ensuring data resilience, model reproducibility, and end-to-end lineage for trusted decisions. Minimum Qualifications 15+ years experience in data engineering or architecture roles, with 5+ years experience managing engineering teams at scale. Proven experience building large-scale distributed data systems (Spark, Databricks, Kafka, Airflow, Snowflake, etc.) in a production environment. Deep understanding of data modeling, ETL/ELT frameworks, and ML data pipelines. Strong fluency in SQL, Python, and cloud data ecosystems (GCP/AWS). Track record of translating complex data into decision-ready structures that power business outcomes. Familiarity with AI/ML feature engineering, experiment tracking, and data versioning. Excellent cross-functional communication skills; proven ability to partner with product, engineering, and business leaders to prioritize and deliver with clarity. A design-minded approach — valuing simplicity, trust, and user empathy as much as performance. BS/MS in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related technical discipline. Preferred Qualifications Experience within a consumer tech, retail, or channel organization. Exposure to decision intelligence, causal inference, or applied machine learning. Familiarity with Apple’s data privacy and data sharing standards. Experience working in hybrid data-product environments, supporting both operational and strategic decision layers. Advanced degrees or certifications in data architecture, AI systems, or cloud platforms are a plus. Pay & Benefits At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $243,100 and $365,400, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Residents will have the opportunity to attend ML and AI courses, learn from an Apple mentor closely involved in their program, collaborate with fellow residents, gain hands-on experience working on high-impact projects, publish in premier academic conferences, and partner with Apple teams across hardware, software, and services. Description - Participating and engaging with cross functional teams to tackle key physical design challenges. - Developing innovative solutions in physical design and optimization space. - Developing and supporting implementation flows for multiple projects and design teams. - Developing and maintaining custom CAD tools for implementation and signoff. - Creating flows to enable successful deployment of new technology nodes. - Developing tools and methodologies for best-in-class PPA and productivity including ML based solutions. - Use and leverage GenAI tools to develop GenAI applications to improve Design team productivity. - Collaborating with other teams such as physical design verification, RC extraction, IR and static timing analysis (STA). - Working directly with EDA tool vendors to resolve tool issues and identify areas for tool improvements. Minimum Qualifications Minimum requirement of BS + 10 years of relevant industry experience Proficiency with Tcl, Python or Perl scripting languages. Experience in CAD flow or PD methodology development. Preferred Qualifications Ability to coordinate and drive initiatives with little to no oversight Hands on knowledge of industry standard PNR tools. Expertise in analysis aspects of Physical Design - extraction, timing, noise, physical verification, EMIR. Hands on experience with high performance and low power implementation flows. The Video Applications team is looking for a full-stack Software Developer in Test that has experience in testing iOS/macOS apps, cloud based frameworks and APIs. Ideally we are looking for someone with a passion and/or background in video editing to contribute to the production of innovative tools for creative professionals, video makers and visual storytellers. Description In this role, you will be responsible for: - Planning, designing, writing, maintaining and executing test cases manually and through automation using Swift and Python. - Driving all aspects of quality and process improvements to help the team ensure that our features are rock-solid and ready to be released to our customers. - Reporting bugs with outstanding isolation and regression techniques - Balancing a wide variety of deliverables that will rely on your talent for managing priorities and communicating progress/risks effectively and systematically. Your ongoing curiosity and dedication to self-education in video/photo technologies as well as new testing techniques is what will set you apart. You will be working closely with other team members to help coordinate multi-functional test efforts. Minimum Qualifications 5+ years experience in QA/QE Minimum of 2+ years experience as a Software Engineer in Test, programming in Python and/or Swift to prototype features, and create and test with internal tools. Proficiency in testing mobile/desktop apps, cloud based frameworks, and backend/APIs. Strong knowledge of software development lifecycle, testing methodologies, QA terminology, processes and test planning. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or an equivalent of 5 plus years relevant experience required Preferred Qualifications Background in photography, Audio, video editing, and/or highly proficient in using image editing software Pay & Benefits At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $139,500 and $258,100, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
